Why Balms?
Most cosmetic creams and lotions are made up of up to 70% water, compared to 0% in balms.
Balms offer a potent base and delivery system for higher quantities of therapeutic plant compounds, (many of which are oil-soluble), and remain a revered therapeutic option in traditional herbal medicine.
Simple, natural ingredients of balms such as rich oils and butters, are easily absorbed into the skin, making them gentle, yet highly effective.
Plant scents, such as essential oils, are captured and retained for longer.

I’ve been raving about the Roll-On Blends I have tried. I love using the Sleep Roll On Blend. I use essential oils most nights before bed. I really like how the Sleep blend wasn’t overpowering on my wrists. I can be sensitive to scents on my wrists due to allergies, and this was lovely. There were fragrances I couldn’t quite tell what they were, but loved that I wasn’t smelling lavender (which I love to grow and eat, but don’t like as an essential oil). Had a really lovely sleep.

Used the Comfrey Muscle Balm. Love the consistency and how smooth it is, loved the subtle aromas, was really pleasant, and liked the feel (didn’t feel too oily or grainy). I liked that I could put my socks on today and not feel like my ankles were sticky (some balms do that). Ankles felt good!!

The Muscle Relief Roll-On Blend has been so good on my shoulders after being at the desk!!! The Muscle roller has been lovely at the end of the day after a hot shower too! The Breathe Roll On Blend is awesome too. Really like using this in the morning. I’d use the Breathe oil blend for meditation, it’s very calming.

I have used the Comfrey Muscle Balm to achieve almost instant relief and healing on a number of serious blunt-force trauma injuries as well as ligament and deep tissue injuries. I also feel the essential oils have an immediate calming effect on the nervous system, especially helpful after an injury. This has become the go-to Balm in our home. An essential for any first aid kit!!
